With a background in social sciences and business, we decided to develop an innovative approach of consulting. In 2015, we created the "Waste me up!" project and led several missions related to solid waste management in Eastern Africa and India with multinational firms, SMEs, startups, funds and NGOs.
Back in France, we worked in consulting companies and figured out how important it was to carry out field studies in order to provide reliable data and relevant recommendations about emerging markets.
LAURÈNE DE SAINT CHAFFRAY
Laurène de SAINT CHAFFRAY is graduated from HEC Paris after 3 years of studies in Social Sciences and Economics, allowing her to complement her basics with strong capabilities in business and management.
Before co-founding AZIMIO,, she had carried out investigations for three established media groups (The Expansion, Le Parisien, M6) and then worked in a consultancy and market research company. It allowed her to develop great skills in data collection and analysis.
She is particularly familiar with cross-cultural environments, as she has worked for a year in Africa and India, supporting impactful projects as an independent consultant. She also developed a significant expertise in waste management issues (collection, recycling, valorization) and project management in the environmental sector. Since the creation of AZIMIO, she has led several market and pre-feasibility studies in developing countries. Those missions allowed her to strengthen her capacities in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and to develop her knowledge on waste, energy and inclusive businesses.
